Before founding Arclight Academy, I spent over a decade in the medical field — starting as an ER scribe, then eight years as a medical assistant — before making the leap into education as a full-time classroom teacher. That path taught me something classrooms alone couldn't: every person learns, processes, and succeeds differently, and no one-size-fits-all system serves every student well.

After three years teaching in a traditional classroom, I saw firsthand how much students thrive when they get real, individualized attention — something a room of 25+ students rarely allows. That's why I started Arclight Academy: to give every student the personalized, one-on-one support they need to actually understand the material, build confidence, and reach their goals.

I also bring firsthand experience with every exam I teach — having personally taken the SAT, MCAT, GRE, and GACE myself, I understand exactly what students are up against, not just from a textbook, but from having sat in that seat. And I bring that same philosophy home, too — I currently homeschool my own daughter, because I believe deeply that education should be built around how a student learns best.
