In-person tutoring is located in Lawrenceville, GA, with areas served including Dacula, Duluth, Suwanee, Johns Creek, Buford, Sugar Hill, and Braselton. Online tutoring is available nationwide, with most students located across the United States. 

We work with students in grades 8–12, college students, and adults — offering academic tutoring, standardized test prep, and college mentorship, including guidance on the college application process.

Before founding Arclight Academy, I spent over a decade in the medical field — starting as an ER scribe, then eight years as a medical assistant — before making the leap into education as a full-time classroom teacher. That path taught me something classrooms alone couldn't: every person learns, processes, and succeeds differently, and no one-size-fits-all system serves every student well.

After three years teaching in a traditional classroom, I saw firsthand how much students thrive when they get real, individualized attention — something a room of 25+ students rarely allows. That's why I started Arclight Academy: to give every student the personalized, one-on-one support they need to actually understand the material, build confidence, and reach their goals.

I also bring firsthand experience with every exam I teach — having personally taken the SAT, MCAT, GRE, and GACE myself, I understand exactly what students are up against, not just from a textbook, but from having sat in that seat. And I bring that same philosophy home, too — I currently homeschool my own daughter, because I believe deeply that education should be built around how a student learns best.
